After qualifying form UCT in 2006, Kelly started her dietetics career in Kosi Bay in KZN. She then moved to Dubai and worked for Mediclinic for 2 years. After her overseas experience, she decided to come home and start Kelly Lynch- Dietician in Cape Town in 2010. In 2013 her and her husband moved to Durban where she started her second practice.

Her Cape Town practice is now run by Lize Stander, who is an integral member of the KLD team.

Kelly’s passion is helping her clients reach their ‘lifestyle goals’ as she believes that changing your eating habits cannot stand alone – clients need to assess their individual lifestyles and changes need to be strategized in order to see a sustainable, long-term result! She sees a range of disorders from people suffering from chronic disease (diabetes, high blood pressure), those needing to lose weight, those with disordered eating and eating disorders, emotional eaters or those just wanting to live at a higher level of health.  She prefers to work with women but she is happy to see men. She does not see children under the age of 14. She believes that every client is different and therefore a holistic and individualistic approach is her formula.

Lize believes in a balanced lifestyle, everything in moderation, eating mostly whole foods and a holistic approach to health.
